Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat your grill to medium-high.

  2. Prepare the potatoes:

    • In a large bowl, mix the potatoes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, half of the garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.

    • Toss well to coat.

  3. Prepare the steak:

    • Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and remaining garlic.

    • Add melted butter and toss to coat evenly.

  4. Assemble the foil packets:

    • Cut 4 large sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil.

    • Divide the potatoes evenly among them, then top with the steak cubes.

    • Drizzle any remaining butter mixture over the top.

    • Seal each packet tightly.

  5. Cook:

    • Oven method: Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and steak is cooked to your liking.

    • Grill method: Place packets on the grill and cook for 10–15 minutes per side.

  6. Serve:

    • Carefully open the foil packets.

    • Garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.

Chef’s Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add a few slices of onion or bell pepper inside the foil.

  • Don’t overcook the steak — medium is perfect for juicy, tender bites.

  • Serve directly in the foil for easy cleanup and rustic presentation.
